Fitment notes

Used condition. For parts or refurbishing. The leather needs to be reconditioned, it is very hard. Hard to close the saddlebag as it wants to flap open from being stored in such position. (Pen holding it closed in the pictures.) Dusty/ dirty from storage and use. As pictured, message for more pictures if needed.

How we sort, photograph, and describe what we sell

Everything on this site has been through our shop in Austin, Texas. We photograph in daylight, describe what's right and what's wrong, and answer condition questions before you buy — not after. If a part is cracked, dented, helicoiled, or freshened up with bondo by a previous owner, the listing says so. If we don't know something, we say "we don't know" rather than guess.

  • Photos are of the actual item, never stock images.
  • VIN / serial numbers listed when present; we run NICB reports on titled engines on request.
  • Condition language is calibrated against the photos, not the opposite.
  • WhatsApp video walkarounds before you commit — just ask.

Leather and pans

Vintage seat pans and saddlebags age in their own way: tooled leather cracks, vinyl shrinks, springs sag, mounts corrode through. We describe pan condition (steel vs. fiberglass), leather/vinyl condition, foam state, and mount hardware presence. Bags are inspected for stitching, hardware, and lining condition. Original badging, where present, is called out — it's often the difference between a usable bag and a collectible one.
